Cookies

Effective August 25, 2026 · Version 2026-08-25

1. The short version

This website uses one optional analytics cookie set — Google Analytics, so we can see which pages people actually read. There is no advertising, no remarketing, and nothing that follows you to other sites.

Where you are changes the default. If you are in the UK or the EEA, the analytics cookie is not set unless you press Accept. Everywhere else it runs by default, and you can turn it off at any time using the button in section 5.

The Cold Call X iPhone app does not use cookies at all. This notice is about coldcallx.app, the website. What the app does with your information is covered by the Privacy Policy.

2. What we store on your device

When analytics is switched on, Google Analytics 4 sets the following. These are Google’s cookies, set on the coldcallx.app domain:

NameSet byPurposeExpires
_ga Google Analytics Distinguishes one browser from another so a repeat visit is not counted as a new person. 2 years
_ga_0CKNY5PSV1 Google Analytics Keeps the state of the current visit — where you arrived from, and when the session started. 2 years
ccx-cookie-consent Cold Call X Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we stop asking. Stored in your browser’s local storage, not as a cookie, and set whichever way you answer. Until you clear it

The last row is not optional: the choice you made is the only thing we can keep, and we have to keep it in order to honour it. It contains your answer and the date you gave it, and nothing else — no identifier, and nothing that says who you are.

3. What happens when you say no

Rejecting is a real rejection. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which is the mechanism Google provides for exactly this: the analytics cookies above are never written, and no identifier for you is stored or read.

One thing worth being straight about: with analytics denied, the Google tag still sends a cookieless ping — a request carrying your IP address and browser type, with no identifier attached and nothing stored on your device. Google uses those to estimate totals. If you would rather block that too, a tracker-blocking extension or your browser’s built-in protection will stop the tag loading at all, and this site works perfectly well without it.

4. What we do not do

So that this is on the record rather than implied:

  • No advertising or remarketing cookies. The advertising categories in Consent Mode are set to denied for everyone, in every country, whether or not you accept — because this site carries no ad tags.
  • No cross-site or cross-app tracking, and no advertising identifiers.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.
  • No social media pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps, no chat widgets.
  • No cookies on the app’s side at all. Your lead data never touches this website.

5. Change your mind

Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing — one button, no account, no email. It clears the choice we stored and asks you again, and until you answer, analytics stays off.

You can also clear cookies and site data for coldcallx.app in your browser’s settings, which removes everything in the table above including our record of your choice. The banner will then ask you again on your next visit.

6. Where the data goes

Google Analytics is provided by Google. When analytics is on, Google processes the data on our behalf and may do so outside the UK and the EEA, under the transfer terms in its Ads Data Processing Terms. Google’s own description of how it uses the information is in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

We do not receive your name, email address, or anything you typed. What we see is aggregate: which pages were read, roughly where in the world the visitor was, and which site sent them.

7. Questions and complaints

Berberian Enterprises Inc. is responsible for this website. Write to support@coldcallx.app about anything on this page — including asking us to confirm what has been stored about you.

If you are in the United Kingdom and you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would ask you to come to us first so we have the chance to put it right.
