Your contacts are in HubSpot. Your calls happen on your iPhone. Getting the two to meet usually means renting a cloud dialer seat and a VoIP number, or tapping numbers one by one and logging calls later from memory. Cold Call X 2.0 connects to HubSpot directly: it imports your contacts, dials through them from your own number, and writes every outcome and note back to the contact.
What it does, in one minute
- Import every HubSpot contact, only the ones assigned to you, or one of your HubSpot lists.
- Dial through them on your iPhone, one call at a time: finish a call and the next lead is ready, at the pace you choose.
- Tap the outcome as you hang up: No Answer, Voicemail, Wrong Number, Callback, Interested or Not Interested.
- HubSpot gets it: the outcome is logged on the contact as a call, your notes land on the contact as notes, and the lead status can move with it.
- The follow-up schedules itself in the app, with a morning reminder and an exact-time alert for any callback you book.
The HubSpot integration is in beta in Cold Call X 2.0. The app is $12.99 once, with no subscription, no seat and no VoIP minutes.
Exactly what syncs
"Integrates with HubSpot" can mean anything from a full two-way sync to a CSV export. Here is the whole list for Cold Call X, so you know what will and won't show up in your portal:
| Direction | What | Details |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot → iPhone | Contacts | All contacts, contacts assigned to you, or one HubSpot list. Fields: first and last name, phone, mobile phone, company, email, record ID. To offer those choices it also reads your list names and sizes, and the owner record that identifies you |
| HubSpot → iPhone | Notes | Notes written on the contact in HubSpot show in the app |
| iPhone → HubSpot | Call outcome | Logged on the contact as a call with the outcome you chose |
| iPhone → HubSpot | Lead status | Can move between HubSpot's standard statuses, never over a status a person set; you can turn it off |
| iPhone → HubSpot | Notes | Notes you type on a contact are saved as notes on that contact |
| Neither way | Everything else | Deals, tickets, emails, sequences and other properties are not read or changed |
Two details that matter on a busy day: clearing an outcome or deleting a note in the app removes the call or note the app created in HubSpot, and the app never deletes anything it didn't create. A mis-tap doesn't leave junk on the timeline, and nothing a teammate logged is ever at risk.
How to set it up
- Get Cold Call X on your iPhone from the App Store.
- Choose HubSpot as the import source and sign in with your HubSpot account. You approve the connection on HubSpot's own screen.
- Pick who to call: all contacts, your assigned contacts, or a HubSpot list. A list is the easiest way to control a calling block: build the segment in HubSpot, import it on the phone.
- Start dialing. Calls go out through the iPhone's own phone app, from your own number, so prospects see a normal mobile number rather than an unknown VoIP line. Calling Hours only dials leads during their own daytime.
- Tap the outcome and add a note before the next call. The outcome and note go to HubSpot; the next attempt goes on your Follow-ups list.
- Pull down to refresh the list when the segment changes in HubSpot.
New to the app? The tutorials show importing, mapping and calling in under a minute each, and the iPhone dialer guide covers the dialing modes.
Where your HubSpot data goes
Cold Call X is built so your leads stay on your iPhone, and the HubSpot connection follows the same rule, with one honest exception:
- Sign-in: HubSpot's sign-in can only return to a web address, not directly to an app. A small server run by Cold Call X receives the sign-in code, exchanges it for your access token, and passes the token to your iPhone. It does the same when the token needs renewing. It doesn't keep the tokens and never receives your contacts.
- Everything else, reading contacts and logging calls and notes, goes directly between your iPhone and HubSpot.
- Your token is stored in the iPhone Keychain and excluded from backups. Log out of HubSpot in Settings to remove it, and remove the app under Connected Apps in HubSpot to withdraw the permission.

Cold Call X or a cloud HubSpot dialer?
HubSpot's marketplace has plenty of calling apps, most of them cloud dialers billed per user per month. They do things Cold Call X deliberately doesn't. The honest split:
| Cold Call X | Typical cloud HubSpot dialer | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $12.99 once | Per user, per month |
| Number prospects see | Your own mobile number | A VoIP number you rent |
| Where you dial | iPhone | Browser or desktop, often with a mobile app |
| Logged to HubSpot | Call outcome, notes, lead status | Calls, often with recordings and durations |
| Recording and coaching | No | Usually |
| Team dashboards and lead routing | No | Usually |
| Parallel or multi-line dialing | No, one call at a time | Some plans |
Pick a cloud dialer if a manager needs recordings, team reporting and shared numbers, or if several reps work the same queue. Pick Cold Call X if you're the one making the calls, you'd rather prospects see your real number, and what you need in HubSpot is an honest record of every attempt and conversation. A HubSpot calling routine that holds up
- Build the list in HubSpot, not on the phone. An active list like "Lead status is New, owner is me, has a phone number" becomes tomorrow's call block: import it once, then pull down to refresh it from HubSpot.
- Call in blocks. Forty-five focused minutes beats a scattered afternoon; set a daily dial goal in the app and let the streak keep you honest.
- Log the outcome every time. A Voicemail today schedules the retry; an Interested today tells the rest of the team in HubSpot. The data is only as good as the tap.
- Put the next step in the note. "Budget in Q1, call back first week of January" is worth more on the HubSpot timeline than a bare call record.
- Check your list stats weekly. Connect rate and the best time to call, from your own dials, tell you when to schedule the next block. The legal side of when you can call is in our calling hours guide.
